Catherine Zeta-Jones, 55, shared a black-and-white photo of herself posing nude in front of a bathroom mirror to mark the special occasion of her shared birthday with her husband, Michael Douglas.
“Rocking my birthday suit! I’m running out of gift ideas!” she joked.
The elegant image, featuring the actress wearing nothing but high heels and tousled hair, bathed in the soft glow of the morning sun, left fans in awe. Many took to the comments to praise her stunning appearance.
“Let’s be honest, if Catherine looks like this now, every day must feel like a birthday for Michael!” one fan wrote.
Another added, “Listen, if my body looks like that at her age, I’ll be posting all the nudes and won’t care what anyone thinks!”
Alongside the sultry post, Zeta-Jones also shared a nostalgic photo from 25 years ago in New York. The couple was captured by businessman and art collector Jean Pigozzi as they celebrated their birthdays—30 and 55 years old, respectively.
“Happy Birthday to Michael and me!” she wrote in the caption. “This was us on our birthday 25 years ago! I love you all with all my heart.”
Douglas followed up with his own tribute, posting a beautiful photo of his wife along with a touching video in which Zeta-Jones, joined by U2’s Bono, sings Happy Birthday while holding a modest cupcake topped with a single candle.
“To my birthday twin — I love you with all my heart!” Douglas wrote. “Wishing you the best year of the year.”
The Oscar-winning power couple first met in 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival and were engaged just a year later, in December 1999. Their whirlwind romance continued with the birth of their first child, Dylan, on August 8, 2000 — just in time for the baby to be present at their wedding ceremony a few months later, in November of that same year.
The couple welcomed their second child, Carys, on April 20, 2003.

“I met her at a bar and tried to be a gentleman,” Douglas recalled during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show. “I asked her, ‘Would you like to have a drink with me again sometime?’”
Later that evening, when Zeta-Jones ran into him again, Douglas boldly told her, “You know, I’m going to be the father of your children.” The comment didn’t go over well. Zeta-Jones, unimpressed, told him she’d heard enough about his reputation and left the date.
But Douglas didn’t give up. He had a letter and roses waiting for her on the set of Entrapment, which Zeta-Jones was filming in Scotland.

Though their relationship has long been admired for its strength and stability, it hasn’t been without its challenges. The couple briefly separated in 2013 but reconciled the following year.
“It can’t just be a one-way street. But I really like her. And yes, I think every couple has their tough times,” Douglas said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “The only difference is, as you know, we’re in the public eye — so everything is a bit more exposed. But we came back stronger than ever.”
